Sometimes we’re so caught up in our everyday life that we forget about those that need the necessities. Those in need of our help to go on and those in need that can’t make it on their own. There’s nothing wrong with lending a hand and helping everyone out. Recently, our managing director, Matthew Goodchild donated $2,000 to a charity called One Hope United. This amazing charity organization gives the purpose of taking care of children so that they may grow up in safe, loving environments. According to One Hope United, they write, “Since its inception, One Hope United’s purpose has been to care for children and to ensure they grow up in safe, loving environments. Today OHU’s team of over 700 talented professionals serves thousands of children and families each year in Illinois, Wisconsin, Missouri, and Florida.”
“Their mission is simple. They are dedicated to helping children in many areas. Whether it may be social, emotional, language and all sorts of development. It’s important that organizations take care of children because they are our future and they are innocent human beings that deserve a chance to be the best,” says Matthew Goodchild of Chicago Vision. One Hope United offers different types of services to meet all children’s needs. They write, “As One Hope United, we are uniquely positioned to advance our mission throughout our service areas by providing a diverse array of prevention, intervention and community-based support programs to vulnerable, high-risk populations, as well as education and advocacy on the local, state and national levels.”
“At Chicago Vision, we believe in everyone. We value those organizations that try to help each individual’s needs. This is what OHU does, and it’s amazing, the work they have been doing,” says Matthew Goodchild of Chicago Vision. Barack Obama had once said, “The best way to not feel hopeless is to get up and do something. Don’t wait for good things to happen to you. If you go out and make some good things happen, you will fill the world with hope; you will fill yourself with hope.” This is what One Hope United believes in, and we believe in the same at Chicago Vision!
